services, to jointly offer 1st turnkey multichannel per carrier
(MCPC) television program distribution solutions on the Paksat
1R satellite.
Located at 38ºE, the Paksat 1R satellite offers premier
Video / Data /Broadband internet in the region spanning UAE
which has a strong community base.
The new MCPC platform will be part of Paksat international
that has expansion plans of international teleports over ME
and Europe enabling Broadcasters in the Middle East / Pakistan
/Africa to reach viewers in these growing regions. The platform
leverages MPEG-2 /MPEG-4 and DVB technology to optimize bandwidth
and offer cost-effective solutions for customers.

this MCPC Platform from around the world and uplink from this
MCPC Platform, a state-of-the-art teleport facility based
in Karachi, Pakistan.
At present, the up-linking multiple domestic TV channels and
growing, this facility offers a concept of one window solution
with solutions like,
• Server based play-out
• Encoding
• Encryption
• Space segmentation
This MCPC platform strengthens Paksat 1R presence in the Middle
East / Europe and Africa Region thereby supporting demand
for television programming across the three continents.
